The Resistance Welder is a small lean assembly cell which mechanizes a resistance weld during motor assembly. Parts are placed into the assembly nest, and then the cycle is started with dual-palm safety switches. The welder then presses against the assembly, the weld head is fired, and the welds are made.
Programming for this particular cell was accomplished in about 90 minutes.
