Sensor Placement Cell
Robotic pick and place cell which installs a sensor into a plastic housing. The sensor is picked from a feeder, stripped to expose a film adhesive, located with vision and then installed into the housing. The assembly is then transferred to a rotary indexer where the adhesive is squeegeed to removed bubbles, and then the sensor is sealed in place with a UV adhesive. The completed assembly is then removed back to the feed tray.
