The Crimper dimples the bottom of a small can, sealing the motor assembly, and securing the bearing. A relatively simple mechanism conceptually, this station actually proved very difficult to complete. The high forces needed to make the crimp kept deforming the mechansim, leading to a second iteration to stabilize.
Also of note was the crimping power concept, which relied on a cam to amplify a relatively small activation force into something nearly excessive.
